We are proud to bring the first traditional Japanese martial arts and self-defense class to San Diego, Tx. Physical ability or previous experience in martial arts isn’t necessary. All you need is a willingness to learn. Please enter the training with an empty cup and a light but earnest spirit. Above all, we want you to enjoy training, maintain your health, and follow your heart.
Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is not a sport martial art. There are no competitions. Rooted in nine traditional ninjutsu and samurai schools, Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is a traditional martial art for the protection of body, mind, and spirit. Used by the United States Marine Corps, the FBI, Special Forces, and law enforcement officers alike, this martial art is an efficient, practical means of self-defense.
As an applied martial art, the classes encompass both armed and unarmed self-defense, including training in classical Japanese weapons and modern, everyday weapons, such as car keys, pens, belts, knives and firearms. Bujinkan martial arts classes emphasize training your awareness skills and the understanding of fundamental principles of structure, timing, distance, and angle.
San Diego Self Defense is affiliated with the Heart of Texas Bujinkan under Sensei George Russell in Lampasas Texas.
Classes will be held at the K.C. Hall in San Diego on Tues. & Thurs. from 7:30 - 8:30
